One Krissy is NEVER enough

Thanks. smiley - smiley It's mostly 'cause we're stubborn.

I remember the first moment that he put his hand on my lower back when we were walking through a crowd. It makes me shiver.

He wanted to buy a new suitcase and so we went shopping and he found one with wheels. He told the saleslady (Who was from Australia) that I was his American girl who'd driven 15 and a half hours to see him and that he was going to let me test-drive the suitcase. So I test-drove the suitcase. He yelled "What do you think, honey? Should we buy it??" and I said, "Oh babe, let's." and we did. smiley - smiley

The last night there the band didn't play (the other two nights they did and my friend Mo and I danced up on stage with the band in front of around 3000 people) so we all met up to watch the LeVay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers. Suddenly a song came on (I don't remember which one) and Andy yells "I LOVE this song!" and starts slow-dancing me around. I hear the rest of the band sniggering behind us and I said to Andy, "I think we're being snikered at." and he danced around 'till he was facing them and screamed, "F**K OFF YOU BLOKES!" and kissed me and kept dancing.

He bought me Miles Davis 1964 live and gave it to me. It's an incredibly significant album for him, particularly Stella By Starlight (I want that to play when we get married) and he just handed it to me really quietly and looked at his feet and said, "Just take this. I'm not sure what it means, but I want you to have it. Just take it."

We were walking back to the hotel after he played at the HMV and he stops and looks at me and smiles sort of crookedly and says, "I suspect you may be my Carmen."

He cried when I left and bought his ticket to Chicago that day.

As a musician, he's constantly centering his weight so that he can breathe correctly. It's turned into a kind of habit. When he's happy, he shifts from foot to foot. Well, I hadn't seen him in a month the first time I saw him in Montreal. I was walking up the road and I saw him and all the tired and worried and anxious went right out of me, because the very moment he looked up at me he broke out in the biggest grin you ever saw and shifted his feet.

He buys me ice cream and flowers. He makes me dinner and holds my hand. When I'm PMSing he never tells me so. If we are fighting he always hangs in there and sloggs through the crap with me. He's seen me sick, insane, exhausted, naked, all of it, and he loves me now like he did in Montreal.

He's the most amazing man I've ever met in my life.

Thanks for reminding me of Montreal. smiley - smiley It was the best time of my life, so far. This whole past year has been. Thanks.

See the thing is, I love him as much as anybody can love anybody. I'm madly in love with him. I can't lose him. I won't do it. If it takes 4 years I won't lose him. I can't.

Well, my work just inadvertantly reminded me that they didn't send me to London like they said they would. It brought up all the hostile and angry feelings I've been surpressing.

If they had done what they said they would I'd live in London right now with Andy. We just talked and the conversation was so strained. It's been 4 months since I've seen him, it's tough. Some days I can stay busy enough that it doesn't overwhelm me, but some days it completely snows me under.

These are a rough couple of days.

I know everyone is here for me. It does make things much easier. smiley - smiley

I know what's that like... work screwing you over that is...

I handed my boss a list of demands this morning, and then a coworker of mine gave his 2 week notice... I think I'm in the driver's seat on this one... finally.

Yep, and a good indication of when to do that is if it looks like everyone else is bailing.

A company can't go long without employees. Make sure you look for something else.

*worries a bit*

Ahh, don't worry bouts ol' me...
None of the completely necessary folks are leaving... just the handy to have around kind... The company's actually doing quite well... just not sure what my future holds here...

so a couple of inquires to opportunity won't hurt
