Thought I'd just say hello ... was very interested to find someone in Poland!! - my father was from Krakow and I still have relatives near Katowice!!
Last time I was in Warsaw was ..... let me think ..... 1990!!
(Just in case you're wondering ..... I'm in England!!)
I too enjoy jazz - Crusaders, Chuck Mangione, Milt Jackson etc. etc.

You know, it's funny: my mom is from Krakow and my dad from Myslowice - it's near to, well almost IN Katowice. So i'm the 'Warsaw-first generation' *grin*
You should definitely visit Warsaw again - it changed quite a lot since 1990!
Am I glad, you are also a jazz fan - there are not so many on h2g2 *sigh*
Maybe you should try to visit Warsaw in October - I know, I know, it's not so nice weather then, but there is this Jazz Jamboree Festival I mentioned and it's really worth poping in, you know.
