The tripod I ordered (not the hyper expensive type - the other kind) from which to position my new camera for pumpkin snapping at opportune stability and height arrived today in the post, and wen I took it out of the box one of the supports on the legs had snapped.
I'll be having it out with Amazon's customer services department tomorrow.

The tripod came from a marketplace seller on amazon. got in contact sent me a return label pre-paid and offered a replacement.
I judge customer service when necessary by their willingness and readiness to correct mistakes rather than that they occur.
Sp far, pretty impressed.
Post Office was closed though so posting it back first thing tomorrow.
