Well, I've now officially experienced England's famed inclement weather. Fortunately, most days I was in London my pants pockets were deep enough to accomodate an umbrella. Did all the important things: Forbidden Planet sci-fi store, Reduced Shakespeare Company (both plays), and observed some idiosyncracies of Parliament. Of course we also had to see most of the touristy things, but those are mostly been-there-done-that check-it-off things. Of course, watching an aquaintance run up to take most of the porn out of phone booths was also memorable. In any case, I have returned a la General MacArthur, just not as impressively. Yay me.
