Hmmm, they invite you to a party & then don't turn up
I guess I'll just have to help myself.
Wonder what's in these boxes labeled 'M Moxon - Private Stock'...
Ohh, yummy!

Hi
I guess the others are waiting for the 28th to arrive in the UK.
That looks interesting - is there any to spare?

Bruce Posted Apr 27, 2000
Sure - oh hang on, this bottles empty - shall I get us one each?
Here you go...

Oh, has the party started already? Blast these funny time zones... oh, a drink? Yes please.

I wanted to sample beers from all the h2g2 countries, so may I start with a pint of Aussie beer? The party's already going strong here at h2g2 . . . Peta, can you turn down the music a bit?

Sorry I've got terrible Tintinitous, I keep hearing Joanna, talking to me in the daytime.
What did you say?

What do you want in the Aussie beer line, Ted?
We have Coopers, Cascade, Boags, Redback, and for the less adventurous the venerable oldies like VB and Tooheys New. Myself, I'm partial to a Boags...
PS, DD, what's "Tintinitous"?

You could try the various James Squires organoleptic delights from the Malt Shovel Brewery ( http://www.maltshovel.com.au/ )from beautiful downtown Camperdown in Sydney - though being Australian & from NSW they'll be schooners rather than pints.
Hypoman - Tintinitous is that lovely ringing in the ears (sometimes permanent) you get from prolonged loud noises - like spending most of an AC/DC concert with your head buried in a speaker box
Hmm, this pile of M Moxon private stock is getting a bit sparse

Have to splice it with something else - a slab of Lion Red should do the trick!

Dom Perignon 1964. Good. Anyone want a glass or a bottle or 30?

Daisy Posted Apr 28, 2000
FYI--it's Tinitis not Tintinitous. Just thought I'd let you know. It's one of the first signs of inner ear damage.
