Well, it's not really crazy, just zaney.
Anyway, I should tell you that the ACE's should be along any moment now to greet you. But I seem to have beaten them!
Anyway, may I recommend the donut stall down on the beach. You'll get an awful lot of wonderful donuts there, including creme egg ones!
Fell free to find your way to the ACE's homepage, then to Joanna's, and that'll take you to the stall.
Have a good time! An ACE should be along soon.

Welcome to this crazy place!
Chris Tonks Posted Apr 23, 2000
No,I think DD made it before you in a forum adjascent this one.
(I probably spelt 'adjascent' wrong, didn't I?
Welcome to this crazy place!
Joe aka Arnia, Muse, Keeper, MathEd, Guru and Zen Cook (business is booming) Posted Apr 23, 2000
Yeah... oh well, I tried
DD is fast though and almost impossible to beat. I did get to another researcher first though
Welcome to this crazy place!
Chris Tonks Posted Apr 23, 2000
You're right - DD is fast! He's in almost every forum I visit!
Oh! That reminds me:
I'm openning up a new section for the h2g2 community soon - the Space Station Big C (GalactiReg Nr GN18L), and I'm looking for people to help me host all the forums. Would you be interested by any chance?
Welcome to this crazy place!
Joe aka Arnia, Muse, Keeper, MathEd, Guru and Zen Cook (business is booming) Posted Apr 23, 2000
Yep... I'm interested. I am opening a website soon, http://www.writers-alley.com
I am looking for content and people to help test it when we go alpha. You interested?
BTW, can you comment on some of my poems at http://www.h2g2.com/morejournal.cgi?userid=28269&journal=30754 because I need some advice as to how to improve my style.
Welcome to this crazy place!
Chris Tonks Posted Apr 23, 2000
Your poems sound very good - I'll go over them again later.
Yes, indeed I would be interested in your site. I'm a budding author myself, with several ideas for books, and I've started writing one too; it's sci-fi, and in its first stages, but I can submit it to you if you want. I've also got a site about it somewhere:
Search for it here: http://www.bigc.org.uk/bg
I think it's that, since I had to remove the original and hide it because of pathetic rumours (my main site that is, not the book's site). Go check it out! Click 'The Citos'.

I'll check it out shortly, after I've dealt with a couple of things on the promo side of things for Writer's Alley
Owning a business can be hard work

Chris Tonks Posted Apr 24, 2000
So, did you check it out? I've got some other work somewhere at home which you might be interested in.
Anyway, you said you were interested in the space station. Well, if you'd like to work there, pop along to the "Hi there!!" forum on my page.

Zulu One Posted Apr 24, 2000
Excuse me for butting in, but this forum is supposed to be about MY homepage...
Do any of you people want to submit something to my BML (see homepage for details)?

Sorry about that
You will find its impossible to keep people on h2g2 on topic for any serious length of time. Or should that be stay serious for any length of time?
Yes, I'll check it out...
