I'm going home, I'm going home,
I'm going..
Abi's going home!
Goodbye Sulivan Court,
(local children screaming)
30 months of hurt
Never stopped me dreaming!
Oh yes it is time to leave behind the weird psychotic flatmates and go home and live with my brother (who is just weird! Just joking Bill! ).
Tired of pretending to be a city girl, I am moving home to my parents house (neither of whom live their any more) and then early next year to a village on the edge of a friend's family farm. Then I am going to keep ducks with said friend on her pond. I have already ordered my books on duck husbandry and one on poultry. I have always wanted a hen and I intend on call it Atilla.
The only worrying thing is that certain people (who know who they are) are trying to marry me off to a farmer. Mind you if he is anything like the ones photoed nude for that British Meat calender there will be no complaining over here!

A specific farmer, or just any farmer?

How interesting... I didn't think arranged marriages still went on in these enlightened times...

Mr Vibenstein, if you not a doctor of medicine, then what are you a doctor of?
My knee hurts alittle ~flutters eylashes~
Abi, you sound relieved to be leaving the city? It is funny, where I come from, ppl would love to be in the thick of it.

So why have you decided that you're not cut out for life in the big city then Abi? Was it something you just decided or a gradual thing? I keep thinking of moving out of London but for the moment I'm better off in than out.
Hope it all goes well anyway.

So the next h2g2 meet-up is Abi's housewarming party?
BTW Duffy, I'm a doctor of woodwork... I can't do much for your knee but I could make you a nifty pair of crutches.

EV the answer is no. There isn't room and I have one ancient and fusty flat coated retriever with an attitude problem so unless you are up to date with your tetanus shots...!

Hope you're still enjoying it in the new place - I wouldn't be comfortable living in a city like London either.

I'll swap Abi! I just moved to the country, and suddenly realised what a townie I am. I just never knew it. I have all the hills, trees, sheep, and farmers you could ever want. In return I'd like concrete, shops and the Thames please.
