h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Our friends at the Big Read http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/ are currently looking at the darkest of the top 100 books. These you might remember were voted for by the public. They include Artemis Fowl, Crime and Punishment, The Woman in White, Good Omens and Mort. I have to say that Crime and Punishment and The Woman in White were particularly dark.

I once tryed to read a book about triad`s it was in gwan dams name the problem was i could never get past the 40th page i think some part of it was the use of chinese slang words they used..

It ment going to the front of the book and looking it up in the list of
slang word`s...

Which was a pain

The best book i have every read was

The rat`s

It was a fantastic read but it was very very goary in parts the only time i put it down was to eaat which tells you how good it was

and the other good book i read was
romeo and juliet

It's very reassuring to see that no books that are part of the Hitchhiker's 'trilogy' made it into that category's top 10 books.

Way2go Intern2, I had Romeo & Juliet as one of the books for my English Lit "O" Level and I passed,
'Tis one of my fave books of all time.

I was well uninpressed they spoiled a fantastic love story by trying to bring it up to date...

It wasn`t meant for the 90`s they
used sawed`s not guns.No fast cars

And as i uderstood it verona people would not be dressed like americans on the super bowl weekend ???
