Unfortunately you weren't in the editors chair when my "St. Patricks day pub crawl" was butchered, but never mind - 'tis green watered down beer under a bridge.
The only news is that I have hooked up with a local, who is going to drag me "beyond the pale" so you may get articles on Connemara and Sligo in the future. I dragged her to Lincoln (my home territory) last weekend but had to knock up the resultant guide entry myself since she doesn't have internet access ;-(.

Ah good so this is the Irish welcoming thread.
I'll add my twopennyworth here then. Welcome to the new chair Abi. However if memory serves the last new chair in the Towers said it was a little squashed there now, so you must be out in the corridor then.
All the best being Peta's little helper, on behalf of the ACEs (the other little helpers ).

Abi and I have thrown Mark off of his large Editor desk, it was the only way we could all fit into the room. We're having to share a desk until DaveG goes back to the States... Then I guess Mark will claw his nice large desk back...

Talking of which, what happened to the nice H2G2 topline title graphic on the front page? The current plain text looks really out of place ( as does the browser )
