Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 7, 2001
You're a nice girl, Sydney. i'm glad to be your friend.
Oh yeah, you _did_ get to see Lara's love interest coming out of the shower too..... with a strategically placed table... *laughs*
Hi there Jade!

damned strategically placed tables!!!
*lol*
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 20, 2001
Hello once more, my green-eyed goddess
I just thought I would let you know that I am a happy bunny at the moment, cos my Oh My Goddess! tapes arrived the other day. Which was nice. They were quite lovely to look at (Urd! Yow, baby!), but I'm glad I had already read the graphic novels, as the characterisations were a bit thin, of necessity, I supppose. You said earlier that the OMG movie is now out - any idea where your club got it from, as I can't find it for sale on-line anywhere ;_;
Oh yeah, Plastic Little was quite fun to watch too, and not ecchi at all, really. After all, it's perfectly natural for a couple of girls to get to know each other by taking a nice hot bath together.... isn't it? Very cute chara designs, really - female and male.
See you soon pet!
Hi there Jade!

Hi again, Kipper!
I'd begun to think that you'd died.
Actually I believe that the FCAC obtained it's copy of OMG directly from the source: Japan. So unfortunately, you're screwed. ...But don't be too disheartened, just try e-bay or something. You might pay a lot, but if you're really in the market and don't particularly care, I say go for it, boyo!
Plastic Little... *lmao* I don't want to know. I've seen previews... and... meh. Have fun. (The only thing that I've seen that's probably worse is Great Teacher Onisaka (or something beginning with an O, anyway. They call it GTO in Japan.).
But I have to go now. It's my first day of college and I already have homework!!! ahhhhhh!!!
Jade-chan
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 21, 2001
Yo, Jade-chan.
I hadn't died.... sometimes I just smell that way....
I've had a butcher's about on the web, and according to AnimeNation, Pioneer should be releasing the OMG movie in the US 'later this year', so maybe i won't have _too_ long to wait. Now i just have to get a DVD player.... and a widescreen TV.... *sigh*. Still, chin up, eh?
Plastic Little was quite fun really, the storyline was pretty slight (evil general murders father of cute girl, tragic but spunky young gal to the rescue), but then considering it was only 50 mins long it wasn't so bad... as Helen McCarthy said, why criticise a cream puff for being light and fluffy? The boobs were out only in a couple of scenes, and I was quite happy admiring the gorgeous artwork, and having a little fun for a fiver. The only thing is... why the hell is it called Plastic Little?
They played GTO at the convention i went to last march, but I missed it... so I couldn't say.
Good luck with the homework pet... work hard now!

Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 21, 2001
Hi again hun.
I've just checked Ebay, and you know what? I can get it on VCD for $5. Oh, those naughty Chinese pirates.... oh Belldandy, can you ever forgive them?
Well, I'm just gonna wait for an official release, dammit...
Hi there Jade!
Jedi Jade and her daemon Thras AKA Dr. Amelia T. "Bermuda" Rangel Posted Aug 23, 2001
...If I were you, I'd go for the pirated version.
But then I'm evil, and that's different. So there we are then.
*being the evil concience*
...It doesn't matter to you, then, I guess, that you're not going to get to see it until it's released "later this year" when you could see it sooner, after it comes promptly in the mail to you. Right to your doorstep. Ready for you to pop it into the VCR or what have you...
*Sighs*
But you can just go on being good, I suppose.
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 23, 2001
No! Noooo! *pulls out hair* Must... resist... temptation...
Oh Jade, why do you corrupt me so?
*moral values... weakening....*
Well.... maybe it isn't so _really_ naughty, I suppose....
(Temptation, thy name is woman...)
Hi there Jade!
Jedi Jade and her daemon Thras AKA Dr. Amelia T. "Bermuda" Rangel Posted Aug 27, 2001
I must corrupt people because it's in my job discription.
*shows him*
See? Right there, line 42, section 7, "You must corrupt humans to the fullest extent whenever possible..." and it goes on.
See, it's all there, black and white, clear as crystal.
I was only doing my job. *shrugs*
So did you order it?
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 28, 2001
Well, Jade, you have succeeded in corrupting me with your feminine wiles. I've decided to put in a bid for a CD of the film from someone in Germany, for about £3.50. So we'll see in a few days how it goes. But I'll still buy a legit release when it gets one. No really, honest.
I hope things are okay for you at the mo. Don't get too snowed under with homework!
Cheers!
Hi there Jade!
Jedi Jade and her daemon Thras AKA Dr. Amelia T. "Bermuda" Rangel Posted Aug 29, 2001
Well I hope you end up getting the tape. When is the bidding done with?
Homework isn't really all that bad. The most difficult thing so far is outlining Plato's republic, which actually isn't all that hard now that I come to think of it because I've done it all before, last year in my high school philosophy class.
But anyway.
How's you?
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Aug 29, 2001
The auction ends on Monday, and I'm still winning, so far
You did philosophy at high school? Wow, I feel quite undereducated....
Anyway, everything's groovy at the moment, it's still just me at home, but I'm managing fine, if not actually doing proper cooking for myself... and I haven't vacuumed for a fortnight.... and the laundry could do with doing, I suppose.... so everything's great, really! It's nice and sunny here, good for cycling to work with my shirt off
I've been ICQing with Iria again, which is fun, and she's coming to Scotland to go to University in a fortnight, so I'll go up there to say hello face-to-face after all this time, which should be fun. (don't worry, we'll behave)
Did you get my e-mail tonight? Sorry if you found the Sumo Sailor Moon too disturbing, but it made me laugh
Cheers, my dear!
Hi there Jade!
Jedi Jade and her daemon Thras AKA Dr. Amelia T. "Bermuda" Rangel Posted Aug 30, 2001
Kipper-sama:
Yep, I did philosophy in High School. And it was a disturbingly fun class. I made a bit of a hobby at "blowing the teacher away with my brilliance!" (And minus two words, that is a direct quote of something he wrote on one of my essays. Yes, Jade-chan is a smart kid. Scared now?)
Hehehe. No vacuming, no laundry... I don't mind clean laundry now and then, but the vacuming, I think our sentiments about that are probably the same. So long as it doesn't hurt to walk across the carpet, it's jolly well clean.
Iria's comming down? Cool! I hope you too have fun, and I know you'll be a good boy. You love your wife too much, right?
And the Sumo Moon thing was hillarious. Thanks for the laugh. (If nothing else will wake you up at 8:00 in the morning, that deffinately will.)
Jade-chan
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Sep 5, 2001
Hello once more Jade-chan-the-disturbingly-brilliant-young-chick,
Sorry for not replying for a bit, but you know how it is. Sometimes you just can't be arsed to do anything in the evenings....
Heh, I'm glad that the Sumo Sailor Senshi gave you a laugh.... it tickled my warped sense of humour....
Well, I got out-bid at the last minutes, so I didn't get that OMG VCD... but hey-ho, (hums philosophically) it's not the end of the world, right? One of the guys at my anime club offered to download it for me sometime using hs magic speedy internet connection, so all's well that ends well, eh?
Oh yeah, you know you're having one of those days when you're walking down the street, eyeing up a group of reasonably good-looking chicks, and it's not until you walk past and hear them talking that you realise that one of them's a bloke in drag..... *sigh*
One of the things I've been occupied with over the last couple of days is watching Macross Plus again and again... and you're right, Yoko Kanno is a goddess.... *staring eyes* _she_is_a_goddessssss_
I think I could become dangerously obsessive about her......
Be seeing you!
Kipper
PS. You are officially my second favourite girl called Amelia. Sorry, but Amelia from Slayers is just _too cute_.
Hi there Jade!

Kipper-sama:
whadya mean I'm your second fav. Amelia? Have you been reading the Mary Celeste forums? I wish I knew the thing for the blushy face because I'd use it here. (So I'll just grin like an idiot instead. That cool wit choo?)
About the drag thing: Did that actually happen??? OMG that's so great. You should write a ook about your life, you know? It might be interesting.
...And just so you know, the world is comming to an end, they're putting Pokemon on Cartoon Network. I must admit to haveing a certain obsession with Team Rocket (because they ammuse me,) but there's something wrong with the Anime version of kid's cockfighting. Because that's exactly what it is. Ya know???
Anyway, I have to go. I have SO MUCH to do.
Love much,
Syd
Hi there Jade!
Kipper The Anime Nut Posted Sep 6, 2001
Yo, Jade-babes!
No, I haven't been reading your private forums, i just read your pseudonym which is written at the top of each of your posts, silly! Heh, are you ing now?
Yeah, that drag thing really happened to my last weekend. >_< A book about my fascinating life??? Well, I guess it would give The Diary Of A Nobody a real run for its money.....
The scary thing about Pokemon when it first exploded over here, was kids mugging other kids to nick their Pokemon cards.... good grief.
I'll tell you why you are interested in Team Rocket.... it's because the bad guys are _always_ more fun than the good guys, naturally. There's actually quite a bit of kid's anime on the terrestrial TV over here, Digimon (boring), Monster Rancher (which I actually watched while having my cornflakes... so shoot me ) and CardCaptors now. But CardCaptors is the hacked-up dumbed-down US version of Card Captor Sakura. Quite a lot of people have been grumbling about this on U.M.A.A. , like the way they changed the good music for crap stuff, and removed all references to one of the girls fancying another girl (because that sort of thing is filthy and disgusting, natch)....
But anyway. Life goes on. And at least there's more anime on TV, so it's a start, right? Maybe there'll be something a bit more grown up one of these days...
Anyway, see you soon, my hard-working chica! Chin up!
Hugs 'n' stuff
Kipper
