Slightly eccentric move with the king, but I can't see anything else for it...

Mike, you can't make that move - it puts you in check from my rook. Besides, I needed that pawn...
Is there any way of undoing the move, or else getting it reversed or something?

Ah, sod it - might as well just play on, I suppose...
I've taken your knight on the left-hand side, and don't forget to move out of check with your next move (or I'll take your king!)...
As you say, a very strange game indeed...

agh, I looked at this post after I moved.....I have definitely lost this game in any case:/....why don't you try taking the king and see what happens

OK, but I'll give you one more chance to save the game before we call this interesting experiment to an end...
I must say I've found it quite useful to have so much time to ponder on the game between moves. I think my playing has probably improved a little as a result of this. Do you know of any other web-based chess sites that play like this (perferably proper ones that have nice little luxuries like a castling facility and pieces that are in the right places )... I've looked at a few, but most of them seem to be 'real-time' only...
All the best, Lear

Lear,
I think the opposite has happened to my game....Very difficult to build up concentration when there is so long to think about the next move....
This is the best site I've found for "slow" chess.
It has been a good game....kill me quickly

Okay Mike, I've done the terrible deed...
This site has taken the expression 'slow chess' to new heights of absurdity. Still, it passed a few moments in the void...
See ya, Lear.
