There's a brewery in Peterborough that's owned and run by a man from San Antonio, who just happens to know some of the people I know in the local beer and brewing community. How's that for synchronicity

Thank you! It was a dog training workshop, but they had comfy sofas and lots of coffee and biscuits so although it was work it didn't really feel like it. It's not a bad journey to Peterborough from here, about 90 mins.
