You volunteer for a 
assessment that's 'urgent'. 2 days later someone pops along and says 'this needs doing urgently when can you do it' only they don't send an email alert. 12 hours later (or so) they give the job to someone else because 'still haven't heard from Mina'.
It's like this All. The. Time.
One of the annoying things about the site is the amount of PMs they send. So, someone posts up a job. Someone volunteers. Someone says 'PMed OP'. OP says, ooh thanks, I'll PM the details' someone says 'PMed volunteer to check PMs' And so on and so on. But oh no. Not this time. I need these assessments jobs for my accreditation. 
I volunteer for all kinds of shite so I can get the assessments when they come up, wait half a week for someone to send me details, then they give it to someone else because they happen to be online on a Friday night. Not a happy
