An entry in PR, if it's in 1st person I don't think it should be there and I won't comment.
So now I won't write for the Guide, and before long, I won't be commenting in PR either.
Fabulous.

Why should that cause you to stop writing?

Sorry, I meant I already won't write for the Guide (pre BBC takeover, but the problem got worse after) and now I won't comment on some of the entries because I don't like the way changes have been introduced.
I feel sad because I can't volunteer either, so I'm just here, draining resources.

I think my days of meaningful contribution to h2g2 are behind me, too, because my time is too precious for me to write what I consider to be stuff worthy of the guide for free, and anyway, I've largely run out of interesting things to write about. I suppose I might do an entry on roller derby some day if nobody else has done one, but that's about it.
In my defence, I wrote a stack of entries back in the day, some of which may even still be vaguely relevant and not hideously out of date, as well as Scouting and Subbing loads more. So, I feel no guilt about hanging around and lurking without actively contributing these days.

I've done a fair amount over the years but I would like to write some more entries. I just need to lobotomise the part of my brain that likes Skyrim and get scribbling....
