My diet semi-starts today

Fed up with feeling stiff and frumpy, and having a new personal friend that does personal training and nutrition, I'm on a diet. Not just a low calorie diet (although it is) but a healthy eating plan to give me all the things I'm missing, without making me have to cook.
She measured me all over (so I'm sure I'm going to get that fake "you're lost 6 inches" at some point), assessed my posture and movemet, and my food diary and came up with a diet and exercise plan. The exercise is mainly to fix all the bits that are wrong (ie my feet turn out which could be years of driving jobs) and work the bits that walking doesn't work, but the diet is the important bit.
So wish me luck. It's only semi starting because I haven't got round to getting the food in for the evening meals. And I want one more Dominos pizza!

Any healthy eating plan that doesn't let you have the occasional pizza isn't sustainable...although having one on the first day is, e, unusual

She hasn't put pizza on the sheet because she'd want me to make it myself and knows I'm not ready.
So far so good, I gave up cola last week (I still crave it) but am holding onto Redbull as she said I could have one bad thing a day. Am now on my midmorning snack of fresh fruit nuts and coffee. I think having someone give me a sheet of ideas has helped enormously. I don't have to think about what I want to eat.

Thank you! So far I've had things straight out of the fridge, cupboard or freezer. Although I did have to unpeel the clemantine. J will want feeding tonight, and I will cook as he has college today, so I'm being a proper(ish) mum, but I'm going to have a teeny tiny portion.

Good luck! But do make sure that you don't put watching what you eat ahead of general quality of life.

No chance of that. I've started looking forward to mealtimes, which is unheard of, but I still enjoy other things a lot more.
