h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Yay! I've had time off from the business before of course, well, no, that's not true. All my time off from my regular schedule has been for business reasons, courses, training, catching up on paperwork, MOTing & work done on the van etc. But in June I have booked myself into my friend's house in Clacton for 4 nights while she is on her own holibobs.

So, Clacton's not very exciting, but it's dog friendly, secure garden, not so far away to stress me out, and I spent a lot of the mid 80s in Clacton as we had family with holiday parks there. So a nice gentle ease into the idea of a holiday. Maybe later in the year I could go further afield, Scotland perhaps!

How many bedrooms does she have?

I'm not sure, she only just moved there and I haven't visited yet. It's got to be at least two. Why, are you thinking of coming as well?

Oh bugger. Landlord wasn't paying the mortgage, so my poor friend is being evicted as part of a reposession. My poor friend, it's so hard to find places to rent with dogs, she's working 7 days as like me she had a crap staff member leave her in the lurch and she's about to pick up a puppy! Although damn shame for my holiday as well.
