h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Lots of changes in the 'office' next week! I was shadowed by one of my mentors yesterday so he's given me lots of ideas to redevelop my puppy training sessions, stop undervaluing (and therefore undercharging) myself and to push more for training work.

I panic a little because I don't want to let all the pet care down, but we've rearranged some of the roles my assistants do so I've got more reliable cover, and my brother will be coming over a couple of times to add admin and 'office' cleaning as he wants his hours up and I want my hours DOWN! I couldn't have anyone but family working in the house. I am also looking into my cat sitter taking over ALL the cat sitting work, including admin, so with my brother helping I should have time to sort that out. And tax. And NI. And get a tax programme thingy to tell me what I'm supposed to be doing with that. And chase the HR person for the work she's supposed to have done 6 months ago...

We should have a new starter once she's sorted all the paperwork, as one person left, so that's more training for me to do, but it's all practise learning to work with people which I need for the dog training.

And I've just realised I've got to leave for work in 10 mins and I'm not dressed. Whoops. This is the problem with late starts. Oh, I've got AGES before I have to go out then suddenly I'm late. Luckily the dogs don't tell if I'm a few mins late.
