Excitement, Adventure and really wild things

I'm not really here

Or ... Just nearly wetting oneself with excitement. I'm viewing a (commercial) property tomorrow which, if it's right, could do great things for my tiny micro business. I'm expecting it to not be right so I don't get my hopes up and rush into things and have it all go horribly wrong, but i'm very excited so have journalled my excitement. Did I mention 'm excited? Daddy is coming with me to force my feet to stay on the tarchip.

You sound bored. With news like that I'd expect you to be excited, really!

It is nice to follow the blossoming of your business in your journals.

I worry I go on about it too much. I've turned into one of those boring people who can't talk about anything but work. Except smiley - hero (the one I'm holding out for) and smiley - choc.

I expect the fall will also be journalled here. smiley - biggrin The property is in two parts, one which is nearly PERFECT but I think will be beyond my budget unless I can sublet (or not rent) half the land, the other would mean we have to get a caravan onsite to have hot water, power and a loo, and probably loads of camping type equipment. That wouldn't be a problem and would probably make it even more exciting, like camping. Yay. smiley - biggrin

Go on about it as much as you like. This is your journal after all, so one cannot really complain you are flooding the place. And no one is forced to read it either.

I find it fascinating to read about all those little progresses, changes, developments, staff annoyments and all.

It's nice to have somewhere to get it off my chest, although I don't think h2g2 is somewhere walled off from the rest of the world anymore. Not that it ever was, but I was more anonymous here then. I have to use fb for the really big rants now. ;-D

One unit I WANT NOW, one very promising & one so-so-but-would-consider viewed this morning! In my price range, might need to negotiate weekend access, but there are people living on site, so I would hope that's not a problem. Agent will speak to landlord to check my type of use is okay, so he can't promise anything. I suspect they'll want me to have the so-so unit as it's furthest from the house, but it's not enclosed, more of an old cow barn! I tried to rent the house too, but no good. smiley - biggrin

If I could get the house and the unit I want, it would great, but I'd have to rent my house out to afford it (which means redecorating the entire house). Maybe for the future! smiley - biggrin

Just hope the landlord is okay with it, and lets me have the unit I want. smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrin

Sadly, landowner is a big fat meany spoilsport and said no. We'll keep looking! We are a bit closer though, as the agent now knows what I'm looking for, so when I call up will be more helpful. smiley - biggrin
