My mum just rang, tears in her voice as she tells me one of her elderly dogs went to Rainbow Bridge (ie was PTS) yesterday and then, tells me her neighbour of 35 years, who was also a taxi custermer for years died a few days ago, and the tears go and her voice brightens.
They were friendly neighbours, but the phone call comes for the dog...
