That will be why it looks wrong then. The other day I spelled it pratise and couldn't understand why it just seemed wrong.

I've had moments like that when the word *is* spelled correctly. It just looks wrong, somehow. It doesn't happen terribly often, but it's rather disconcerting when it does!
