h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have to let my son be disappointed and upset tomorrow. He didn't remember he needed bus fare to an event tomorrow, so now he can't go because he spent all his money. His last lot of wages hasn't cleared, and he didn't put last Friday's in the bank yet. He's supposed to be learning to budget (he also gets around £200 a month benefit paid straight into the bank).

Not giving him the measly £6 is possibly the hardest thing I've had to do...

be strong - it's teaching him. But oh my, that must be awfully awfully hard.

But he has just admitted he spent all his benefit in two weeks. Half of it on expenses, the other half....? Now he's having a little . But if I give it to him, he won't learn.
