Fingers crossed (how the hell does that smiley work as it's not on any of the smiley pages?!) that it continues to rain as well!

I was listening to really heavy rain last night and was so pleased, and I thought I'd wake up to a clean new world with no snow.

Unfortunately ... not. If I hadn't *heard* the rain, I wouldn't believe any had fallen. There's still snow everywhere!

I didn't hear a thing, but could tell it had been raining when I got up. Most of the snow in the garden is gone, is all gone from surfaces just a bit on the grass now.

In the street I can now see pavement, although not all of it. Not even most of it. But weather looks to be 3degrees today, with some 8s and 9s expected in a day or so.
