I really dislike it when I have been looking forward to alone time and someone with good intentions busts into it.

She won't be offended really, but I feel selfish, especially as I don't see my parents much - we talk a lot, but don't spend a lot of time together anymore. And they are not even 10 mins walk away.
I have said I was looking forward to a day when I didn't have to be anywhere at a certain time, she does understand. Just still feel selfish and mean!
