I managed to get a three year old Mollie to lie still in an MRI scanner with valium, so take lots and you should be able to drift away!

only gave me 1mg tablets. Am sure she could do better if it doesn't work tonight!

You can do it Mina, the pills will calm down the anxiety, they really *do work* so give them a chance, if you use them and a bit of mind power you can hopefully mentally remove yourself from what you're doing.
Take very deep breaths all the way through, you're probably hyperventilating - keep blowing *out* hard and concentrate on something really nice - pretend you're not there and you're stroking a dog instead? Maybe pretend Buster is there with you, stroke his head, think of him.

Oh poor Buster. 
I took 2 this time, and just fixed something the cleaner broke on the Dyson. I hadn't done it before as I was worried I'd break it worse, so I guess that's a good thing. That worry had gone.
I'm off to meet my brother who is coming this time.
