Flying in a drunken stupour to pass the time doesn't sound bad to me... I could have taken a stop over flight but that just sounded more trouble that the leg stretch would be worth.

I once flew in business class* and I must say it was much better: enough leg room, huge seats, fancy food, and However, it was also the only time I had such a long distance flight, so I don't know how economy was (in terms of leg room; I wouldn't bet about the food). I should remember because I got my regular flight back; maybe this means it wasn't bad.



* being upgraded because my flight was overbooked. Apart from that, the only difference was I left about 20 minutes earlier, and the connection took place in Washington instead of Chicago. Happy

When I flew to Australia the legroom in economy was more than adequate, but then I am a shortarse
