For the past couple of days I've been able to smell things. This is very strange.

Doesn't poo smell DISGUSTING!

Shouldn't it be the other way round, as in wondering why you can't smell stuff anymore?

Or maybe what you are smelling is my 's poo. How such noxious fumes can come out of such a small creature is beyond me

Ha ha, yes some dog food seems to expand while inside the dog. Now my dogs are on a raw food diet they do very tiny ones. I even know the percentage of poo for a correct diet - 15%. Any more or less and something's wrong. However I don't intend to start weighing poo.

I lost my sense of smell in my late teens when I got asthma and rhinitis, just slowly went away. Few times I've had an operation and once when I was in hospital having a baby it came back for a while, but it's unusual for it to come back spontaneously.

I have managed to gas a budgie when J was about 2, because he grew tall enough to reach the gas fire knob over the fire guard and turned it on without igniting it. J's dad came home and complained of a gas smell. No idea how long we'd been gassing ourselves, but the budgie died the next day.

I suddenly noticed a few days ago how nice tomatoes were tasting, and then realised I could smell some sort of naturey smell in the woods, then I had to collect a couple of dog poos and DISGUSTING!

He was most definately a Wire Fox Terrier (WFT) when I last checked, which was about a year ago when he popped his clogs.

Can you still smell, or is it going away again?

Nothing whiffed so far today.
