I'm not really here Started conversation Feb 6, 2010
Had one of my occasional customers call round unexpectedly yesterday (they are supposed to make an appointment if they want to see the house) but invited her in anyway as I feel it's rude not to let people in, as if I've got something to hide. She had the fecking cheek to ask if I was 'moving'. Er no. I have to work (unlike some people) and hadn't been home long, but I didn't think it was that bad??
She called back this morning and told me she had 'lost sleep' and 'couldn't go through with it' because her dog (a elderly bulldog who doesn't like walking, never goes out, has overlong nails because of it, and she didn't even know his tail was DOCKED?? thought they grew like that) would be confined to 'one little room'. Excuse me love, that's my GROUND FLOOR! She moaned that I wouldn't take him upstairs, but I'm not licensed up there and therefore not insured and I told her I'd sleep downstairs if that's what he was used to. I should charge more for that....
My 'little room' was big enough for a Mastiff and a Great Dane last week.

okay so my house isn't large, there is actually one living room, slightly smaller dining room (used basically as a dog stuff storage room) and a small kitchen, but there's enough love to go round, even for one small bulldog who has an annoying owner. And she's got the cheek to want me to deliver her cheque back. I've told her I'm on leave now so it might be ten days. Ha. I also told her we can't all live on Hutton Mount (house prices average at about £3million).
She really pissed me off.
