The website predicted light snow after 6pm for berkshire - not the blizzard we've had all afternoon that has caused gridlock in most towns across the county...

Apparently Harlow (Essex) is gridlocked,as I was told when I complained to the police about the hoards of kids roaming around here. Normally they get dispersed when they get to about 5 or 6, must be going round in gangs of 25 at the moment.

It took me 3.5 hours to collect the boys from nursery yesterday, it is a ten minute drive normally. Thank god I went to get them early but I thought we wete going to have to sleep in the car at one point!

Ooh, that's really scary

Small children don't really understand traffic jams. So also, I imagine, v stressful.

Ho yus... t'Other just went to sleep but had at least an hour's worth of 'let me out mummy' and 'take me home!' from t'Boy. He appreciated it when I got out and jumped up and down and cheered when we got up a hill that had already claimed a bunch of cars.

oh, must have been so worrying with the boys with you! I'm fully prepared for kipping in the van, but not with babbies.
