Stories, stories...well, give me time and I'll have a cracker. I actually have loads, but they're about what heavy metal bands have done on tour...
Congratulations on starting a new thread!

that would be fine with me, anything at all just so long as i get to hear the stories, stories as i have said before are movies for the mind and right now i think it is a good time for a movie
by the way, i am quite proud of myself i did the new thread with no trouble, you are great at explaining it, thanks

'e's a clever lad for all his boisterousness. Scuse me for talking about you like you're not here. That's a terrible adult habit and I should know better.
*sits on ottoman near fire*
And that was a very smooth switchover to a new thread, Auntie.
Give me a little pause and I'm sure I could think of a story. Do you like fictional stories or experience stories better?

Ooooh, I don't have my copies of Kerrang! near me...uh, can you wait a little, please?

both styles of stories are just charming for me i enjoy the fiction for a bit of fun and the learning stories for the lessons that they teach us
joanna dear, do you mind me asking what the Princess of Darkness tag on your name means??

I'd be interested too, Joanna, if it isn't too personal.
Oh look, Mike has fallen asleep on Aunt Agony's shoulder.

My favourite drink is Tia Maria and cola Last year on UK television they did an advertisement campaign, about the "Princess/Princesses of Darkness".... in one of them the three Princesses walk into a bar, where there's some cute guy, and the narrator says "and then they split him, right in front of my eyes..." so there was three of this guy... and the tagline was "have you met the Princess of Darkness?"
Well anyways, I was bored with my name (after having gone through Joanna (who is not here. she is writing her lab report) , Joanna †... ) so's I decided to become Princess of Darkness. And I have sovereignty over embarrassing secrets. And generally have dark powers... if I can implement them. But people seem to have a hard time believing that I am, in fact, Princess of Darkness.

I have heard from several sources about the efficacy of the Curse of Joanna. I am very impressed with that. Not to mention your having one of the busiest concessions in this particular universe...

Wowbagger offers the gift of a furry looking rug to AA.
There's something for beside the fire! Only looks like an animal though. Don't like hurtin' 'em I don't.
Sits cross legged on the rug and tries to think of a story...

Joanna, that was a lovely story about how you came to add the 'Princess of Darkness' tag to the end of your name
oh, would one of you be so kind as to gather a throw blanket from the chest over there for me so we can cover Mike A a bit, i would hate for him to catch a chill. isn't he just cute as can be while sleeping, poor thing just tuckered himself all out with the move .
thank-you for the beautiful rug Wowbagger, it helps to make the room more appealing and Shazz, good luck with your trip...i am sure that you will make it there without any troubles

*Lil persuades sleeping Mike A to lie in other direction against sofa arm and covers him with throw* There you go. He'll be up and about in a few hours like yer usual hyperkinetic teenager. And you can move about in the meantime.
Cool rug, Wowbagger. What kind of ex-animal is it?

goodmorning my dear, i hope you slept well
do tell us about your dreams, i am sure everyone would agree with me about wanting to hear i do enjoy listening to peoples dreams as well as their stories. do you know that some people say dreams are windows into your subconsious? they can warn you of danger or help you to work through problems in your life. i recall reading a book once that described what the different types of dreams and nightmares meant, quite interesting i must say
sorry, i did not mean to go on and on like that, please do tell us your dream

Asteroid Lil is great with interpreting dreams
Now, on to mine...sorry for the delay:
The bands in question, and what happened to them, are:
Ozzy Osbourne/Motley Crue (1984)
As Ozzy's manager, Sharon Osbourne, has seen more hedonistic activity than most, so the fact that the unflappable Mrs O had to confiscate da Crue's backstage passes on their '84 tour with Ozzy because the LA quartet were bringing so many gruopies backstage, speaks volumes about how out of control the band were. They were still no match for Ozzy though - the Double O instantly silenced the Crue's drug-taking boasts when he snorted a line of ants.
Aerosmith/Guns n' Roses (1988)
Before their summer '88 tour with Aerosmith, Guns n Roses were warned that if they did drugs or even drank in sight of the newly sobe Aerosmith they'd be kicked off the tour. The Gunners agreed, but found trouble elsewhere: smashing dressing rooms, throwing tables out of hotel windows and brawling continously. Axl Rose was arrested twice, once for punching out a businessman who called him a "Bon-Jovi lookalike".
There's more, but more copy of Kerrang! is being munched on by a certain blac horse that Lil knows v well...
