This was quite a tragic day and just a line in memory of the 21,000 on all sides who died 69 years ago today.

No you are welcome tell others if you wish its a remembrance even those who survived need remembering.
a 17 year old German lad was on the beech in a pill box. He fired over 10,000 rounds at the US forces he knows he killed a lot of men. He said all that time he was he was killing he was preying and crying. After the war he met an American survivor of the landings, who admitted to him he was also preying and crying when he was killing.
So that's it really war preying and crying when killing, there seems little point somehow.
