A Conversation for The Paul McCartney Death Clues

This is possibly one of the most interesting guid entries (or guide entries-to-be in this case) that I've read. Ten out of ten for subject matter!
(Needless to say I'd never heard of the Paul McCartney's dead theory before - embarrassing, for a Beatles fan)
I look forward to seeing it up there with all the other great entries.

Hiya Pink Dandelion - thanks for dropping by and reading the article.
So, whereabouts do you live? The Death theory was quite popular in America, but not really mentioned much outside the US, and has been pretty much forgotten since the 60s anyway.
So, do you have a favourite Beatles album or song? There's no way I could choose which I liked best!

Hiya
I'm in London at the mo. Where abouts in the states are you?
Hmmmmm - difficult question - song-wise, I really like She Said, Norwegian Wood and the German version of I want to hold your hand (Komm gibt mir deine hand...I think, my spelling's appaling (sic))
But then, I really like just about everything else they did too!
Are you a die-cast fan, then...first time around??

Sorry to have made a confusing post!
No, I'm not American - I'm from the Isle of Wight, UK - and I'm not an original fan either, having been born in 1980. But, through being an obsessive, I've found out some information about the Beatles that isn't so widely known, such as this Death Clues business.
Good song choices - is there any reason why you prefer Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand to "I wanna hold your hand"? Are you a German living in London, or am I as confused as I confused you?
Let me know,

Confused? What? No, hold the ketchup.
No - I'm as English as....something with the union jack stamped on the back. (Well, am actually of scots descent and conceived in Wales...but not german, at any rate.)
Isle of Wight? I've a friend who teaches sailing down there...been down to visit only the once, power boat weekend this bank holiday...urg, I can still remember the hangover.
I think I like the german version because it's so fantastically cheesy - superb - and yet so serious and enthusiastic. And it just sounds rather fun in german. I like the way it doesn't quite translate.
Why bluebottle?

Ah ha - so you're British. Good - that makes sense.
As for me being Bluebottle - it's a name with many uses. It can mean a bottle that is blue, a fly, a type of jellyfish, or the character "Bluebottle" from "The Goon Show" is absolutley great - have you heard the Goon Show much?

Ying tong tiddle-eye poe... (dunno how to spell it tho..)
And I vaguely remember something about a piano, though I may have imagined it

Yes, there was quite a lot involving pianos
So, why are you the Pink Dandelion, and if you are a dandelion, why do you sign your name with a fish?

Ah, well, there you've got me.
The PinkDandelions were a band I was into for a short but passionate while, that is, I went to one concert and got hooked, and they announced at the end of it that they were breaking up. Fantastic. So I decided to let them live on in my name It also sounded rather hippy and flowerchild (I was going through a "phase"...)
As for the fish, um, possibly a sad attempt to be surreal. Actually, I've more or less dropped the fish in favour of the angel (I'm fickle, too. -sigh-) for now, at any rate.
Anyone who pretends to be a bottle can't throw stones, anyhow. (bit of a mixed metaphor, but I know what I mean)
Pink...

Bluebottle Posted Nov 28, 2000
A very good reason to have a name, that. Must have been quite a concert!
Okay - well, good luck with the surreal fish or angle or whatever it is you decide tomorrow, and I promise not to throw stones

I would like to contradict you. i admit It is very well reaserched, but saying paul is wearing white which in some cultures means death is a bit far fetched, it could mean any number of things in different cultures. The carnation thing, the other beatles were wearing red. In some cultures traditional marriage cultures. Wow! this means all the other beatles had secret marriages. I think not. Yeah it's interesting but so many different cultures mean so many different things so using them as evidence is not very good. However have any of you listened to the songs backwards? It's amazing. A lot of them say stuff about paul being dead. I think the beatles were just being very clever and selling records.

Bluebottle Posted Dec 29, 2000
Good points. A lot of it, as you say, is very farfetched, which is something which I thought I had made clear at the end.
I wasn't alive at the time these "clues" were made, and those were among the "proof" given, so really had to be included, even though I agree that it seems a little far fetched. But apparently back in the 60s in that "flower power" environment, it wasn't.
Just goes to show that the world is mad

Isn't that just what makes it so much fun, though? That it is so unlikely? I love conspiracy theories, the more contrived the better.
Nutty as a fruitcake.
