There are many tales of blood sucking creatures in Latin America, but the one which has risen in popularity in recent years is the chupacabra. Dead goats have been found whose blood was apparently sucked, as indicated by two little marks often associated with vampires. The name given to the suspect? The goat sucker, el chupacabra, suggesting a male entity. There are accounts of more than just goats, but goats are what the chupacabra is famous for. Accounts of the details of the features vary but the common descriptions are a half man/lizard creature with large red eyes and long claws that hops in an upright position like a kangaroo. Common places of "sightings" are Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and surrounding regions (including the USA).

Well...... To be more exact El Chupacabra may have existed and most reports are listed in Mexico but there have also been reports of migration to the US. And from what I've heard there are supposedly females because I've seen many stories on one "La Chupacabra", of course you know, "La" meaning "girl". In fact, a while back my friend's cows were mutalated and no blood was found. My aunt supposes that it was the government because earlier that night she had seen a jet black helicopter fly over towards his house and as you know, recently there has been an extreme development in lasers. But that dosen't make up for the fact that there was no blood. Also, if I may, I would like to give a more detailed description of El or La Chupacabra. From various accounts, it is about 3 or 4 feet tall, resembles a velociraptor or deiynonychus with one of the "classic" alien heads, is spotted, has long spikes draping off the back, and the majority are males. It is said to look nothing like a man. Thanks for your time and i hope you believe me because I'm pretty experienced in the cryptozoological field! See ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Chupacabra is supposed to leave a large hole on the body, usually the neck, through which it sucks the blood, not two little holes. The strange thing about the sites where the bodies are found is there is no evidence of any blood being spilt, its just gone.
The chupacabra is also supposed to have a strong smell of sulpher, which has been reported on many different sightings.

Im not sure why its called the goat sucker because most of the pictures/reports seem to involve cows or chickens. I suppose this might have been from an earlier period when goats were a more common livestock animal?
