Well, it has begun. The massive construction on the building where I work. It is smelly, dusty, ugly, and that's just the people working on it.

I am the person who is in charge of listening to the tenants bitch. In the last two hours, I've gotten 16 phone calls, all of whom were people bitching at me.

Grrr.

Ok. I can appriciate that these people are paying rent at a highly exaggerated scale. But, fer the love of Bob! do they really need to complain 24 hours a day 7 days a week?

If I lived in that building, I would definitely need to. No doubt about it. Absoflogginlutely. Yes.

Hi! I really am on the tenant's side. But, I really hate listening to the personal abuses that they heap upon my head.

"Sir, please... I'm the receptionist... No, I can't come down to your office and personnaly install your drywall... sir, please stop talking about my mother that way..."

Yeah, yeah. Hamster, elderberries, yadda, yadda, it's all very unnecessary and silly, yes, yes, I know.

Still, construction work sucks.

Yeah. I'm also allergic to pretty much... um...

Everything. So all the stuff in the air is giving me a sore throat. Which sucks.

We also had a major water pipe burst the other night, and it leaked into the main phone room. Faxes were down all over the building. And it smelled funny...
