Yeah, I caught that after I'd posted. *insert sheepish grin here* You lucky. School starts out here on Sept. 5th. And some lucky kids out in CA get to go to school year round. I'm sooooo glad I didn't have to deal with that when I was a kid. I'd've gone nutters.

LA is hot and humid and smoggy the last few days. We've been on stage 3 power alerts for the last week or so. And to top it all off, we're having a large political convention in town. Protestors and traffic jams and big beefy police with pointy sticks and rubber bullets and itchy trigger fingers.

ugh... Thats so not what one would stereotypically associate with being in LA.

How much harm can rubber bullets do a person? I guess they're better than actual ones...?

Rubber bullets can kill if not used proberly. See Northern Irland in the 70's.
