Much Better!
FairlyStrange Started conversation Feb 29, 2000
I get to come in through the front door this time!!!
Word of advise, use the Journal Entry section for day to day comments....use the article section to publish. You can edit any article at any time until it's(if you're lucky and good) accepted. It saves space in your Journal.
In the meantime....roam around! A great place to get to know other Researchers is the 5 Busiest Forums. You can get to it on the Front Page...(click the HG in the gooey stuff at the top left of your screen).

Much Better? Thanks

Thanks for the support. I'm starting shakey but I'm sure i'll get the hang of this sooner or later. Trying not to panic.
Much Better? Thanks

Hi Ben! Fairly Strange is right, the journal gets cumbersome when you post articles in it. Unfortunately journal entries cannot be erased
At any rate, Fairly Strange and I are both Assistant Community Editors (ACEs). The ACEs have volunteered to greet new researchers and answer questions about this very large community. If there is anything you want to know about h2g2, we are a good resource to take advantage of. Here are a few links you might find useful:

We've all been there and done that
There was a time when you couldn't delete your own user pages either.........h2g2 has come a long way in the past year, and rumor has it some interesting changes are on the way soon.

Much more socialable this, no doubt as you spent more time you'll decorate your home more, but now we can say hi and not take too many threads too far off topic, as if.

Sorry BD, let me clarify. Most thread s around here have a tendancy to drift off topic very quickly, until you gave us a front door, one of those drifts was in telling you how to open the front door.
I have never taken a thread off topic.
YEAH RIGHT DD
Hope this clears things up slightly.

HHmmm...I was under the impression that "Topic Drift" was required!
Don't be nervous, BD. It's like getting in a cold swimming pool.....it's a whole lot better to just jump on in!

Fairly Strange might recall a forum I created specifically for topic drift. It was pretty popular for a short while
