Thanks Mark. It was nice to meet everyone and put some faces to names (at least in most cases it was!). Glad you enjoyed it and here is hoping there are many more! P.S. You can be on my rounders team any time!

What is red illegal now? Strange, that off seventies green now I could understand that being illegal.

Oops forum hijacking, must remember to get out of that habit.

Likewise, Ginger. Great to meet everyone, and a superb afternoon. Though I think most of us need lessons in hand-eye co-ordination before the next round!! smiley - winkeye

Oh, I don't know. I thought our second innings was pretty good. However, for me, a few trips to the gym might well be in order as endurance was not exactly at an all-time high (or even all time middle). Mind you, running around in 80 degree heat is likely to do most people in! Must remember the suncream next time though!!

Next time you get me and Yoz on your team. That'll slow you down a bit!smiley - winkeye Well done the boys did good.

And this boy can barely walk this morning smiley - smiley Howeverm, the joy of having everyone ask whether I've been on holiday this morning, has more than made up for the loss of normal walking ability!!

My right leg no longer works. It gave up almost completely about two hours ago. Combined with my odd blotchy arms, it looks like I've been done over! "No, no," I exclaim, "I was just playing rounders!"

Yoz

It took me 3 hours to get out of bed this morning.
It hurts when I walk.
Need more excercise, obviously.
But I still enjoyed myself immensely smiley - smiley

I can't decide which is worse, the swelling on my left leg from trying to stop the ball (it went up over night, but is going down again now), the ache in my left leg from trying to run in circles or the bad case of sun burn. I think I know how Dancing Tree must feel, he was at least as badly burnt as me, but what the heck, it was fun.smiley - fish

I have stiff legs too. Have had great fun explaining to single girls at work that I wasn't sunbathing in garden but playing rounders with many goodlooking men in park.

Yep it was nice to meet the lot of you!
Yes I'm in agony too, I thought I was reasonably fit obviously not.
I feel like I've been given a good kicking from somebody
with a grudge and a flamethrower...ouch! No sign of that
picture I see...

Post 19

I'm glad to see hardly anyone else could walk this morning either, I still can't walk now, standing up or sitting down that is defintely the hardest thing though.

Why do we all ache so much?
It's not as though what we did wouls be considered strenuous exercise. Did anyone actually wake up this morning and not ache?smiley - fish
