Gosh, between you and Doug, I can't keep track of all the name changing. It certainly keeps one on ones toes, having to constantly update links like this. Maybe I should change my name.......

Maybe they need to have a check on when people alter their name so that you cannot have the same as anyone else otherwise it is going to get very confusing. Can you imagine a world with more than one Ginger?

Hello - may I make a suggestion??
If you incorporate your researcher no as part of your name there won't be any confusion.
More than one Ginger?? YIKES!!!
There is only ONE Ginger!! (Thank goodness) You are unique (just like everyone else )

Good idea except someone would be bound to think that there were 25842 other Ginger's before me and I couldn't have that, could I?

I am trying to imagine a game of rounders with that many Gingers!

Impostor???!!! what do you mean - impostor. I'll have you know I've been Ginger for as long as I remember (and we won't go in to how long THAT is). However, redheads in Australia (sorry, can't make the rounders) are often called Blue, so I do occasionally answer to that as well. The Gingeronimo comes from my misspent youth when horses were more important than boys.
But, I agree that things could get confusing if there is no mechanism to advise new members their nickname is already taken.
Maybe we could form an intergalactic, or at least interstellar, Ginger Association?
The mind boggles.

Why blue? Is that Aussie humour at work again?
A Ginger association sounds good - I am fed up being picked on because I am a redhead and everyone assuming I must be A) narky B) awkward and C) arumentative just because of my hair colour! The fact that I am all of these things is neither here nor there!
P.S I've been Ginger for 32 years, 3 months and 20 days - How about you?

Aussies refer to "having an argument" as "having a blue" and since us redheads seem predisposed to being narky, awkward and argumentative the nickname has developed.
Are you sure you're not me?
Nahhhh. Of course not ...... I've been Ginger for 45years 6months and 15days. Phew - what a relief!
