Hi Lady C
so good to see you are back, too Hope you don't mind me interrupting your chat with Mina, but as I saw her posts I wanted say hello to her, too
Well, Mina, what will u do now, that Foxy Manor was cancelled - which is really a shame? Do you plan to open your cabinett at your cottage?
As for me, I reactivated Crossed Purposes pub, so do come and have a drink or more, both of you. And - Mina - I hope, you are still one of the barkeepers? hehe!
Till now, I'm not sure, how I will come along with the forbidding of German threads. Methinks is a very bad thing, as the community is quite big. And I can't believe, what DA would say to this, he - who created the Babelfish??

Yes Coely, it was.
I was quite impressed, and it turns out my bloke is quite interested in them, and he has a video that he hasn't watched yet (came free with a book I think), so I'll be watching that soon I expect.
And I remember that you lurk. In fact, I often think of you lurking when I'm posting.
Hi Kasia! Nice to see you back as well. I am working on GB to try to get her to be nice to Matt to see if we can get Foxy Manor reactivated. If not then I expect a dungeon will just sort of spontaneously form somewhere. I doubt there will be a dungeon at Kettlebastin. That Mina is a nice old lady, into herbalism and witchcraft. She wouldn't have time for any of that sort of nonsense. I think she leaves it to the youngsters.

Hi Kasia! Welcome back.
Mina - I'm going to say a quick hello to it too this week. Big scraggy looking, but in reality I hear they are a very beautiful colour indeed, with luminous eyes. I've recently read a book about them as well. Check out the URL from my page - it's where I got my key ring.
I do enjoy a good lurk.

I'm going back soon as well, we didn't get to see hardly any of the museum as we spent ages in a couple of the galleries and then had to queue to see the dinosaurs for over an hour. As I get in free as J is classed as disabled it's no problem to go back. I'll probably wait until Easter though, so I haven't got to tramp around all day and then work all night.
Very tiring.

I have free entry to most places as a member of the National Art Collectors fund. It's £30 for the year and covers the whole country for galleries, musuems, stately homes etc.
The NHM is a tiring place. The air is warm and dry, so I feel worn out and my eyes ache after a whole day there. I read about the queue for the new dinosaur exhibition. Was it worth the wait? There's never anyone waiting to se the coelacanth! Except me. I remember the big blue whale from visits as a kid, and it still seems too big to be real.
J might like downstairs in the Science Museum where there are some very child friendly displays.

Hi again. Hi Kasia, I think we met before <>. Just wanted to acknowledge Coely's hello, and now I'll leave you folks alone. I don't like to interrupt girl-talk...

J loves the Science museum. Last time we went we accidently found the Star Trek exhibition there. (We had no idea it was on!) And we spent all day there, J liked the room where they put a background on the screen but it's not behind you. His face was a picture.
I don't think it was worth the wait. It was too much queuing. But I was in a bad mood by then. And J wasn't interested in the dinosaur section after, so we rushed through it too quickly. I would make sure you get there EARLY! As there won't be so much of a queue. It doesn't get any smaller through the day.
£30 isn't too bad, I go to quite a lot of museums through the year.
