A Conversation for Cairo - Things to remember when visiting Cairo

Don't forget to mention the traffic! This is the most insane thing I've ever seen. Mexico City and Istanbul are kiddy's bumpercars compared to Cairo! Statistically each car blows its horn every 20 seconds. Honking does not mean 'get out of my way' but 'careful, here I come!' since only very few cars have reaview mirrors... According to a calculation by american scientists who took the number of cars, and the square meters of road available, the result was that traffik in Cairo must take place 'on top of each other'. If you happen to go by taxi,, don't mind the traffic. Start counting camels or donkeys among the traffic to distract you.
But belive it or not, you can really hae a great time in Cairo!
