Whoo-hoo! I love frogs!

Personally, my favorite ones are blue, six foot three, and tend to be near-sighted.

Those would be my favourite too, if there were any like that around here. Where you live must be very interesting.smiley - smiley

Well, I can't call those big blue ones very nice. Very often they have forgotten their glasses and they won't see you until they've leaped right on the top of you.

No,.. my favourite is definitely the Purple Frog.

I take it the blue sort are quite big, then.

Purple Frog

Yeah It's completely annoying. You see, back home I have a tree. Or rather half a tree. Anyway it was planned to be a house for frog-friends. An once a blue frog came and tried to hang on it. Thank bob I had a good policy!

Your insurance agent must be something of a phenomenon. The ones I've met would have a very difficult time grasping the concept of a tree house for frogs. I'm sure there would be all sorts of difficulties associated with getting a policy to cover one.

Well , ... hermmm .. oooh I think that enough time has elapsed now and that I can reveal the terrible truth without the consequences it could have had then. Actually (* typolifi's voice sinks to a whisper *), my insurance agent WAS a frog....

Aha! I suspected as much!

You see! But in his agency, they didn't know anything... So they innocently gave him a supervising position. Just imagine what it ended in a few years later!

Those Human Resource types have a lot to account for, in my opinion.

Frogs Forever

Post 11

Right! After all the tests they make, few humans remain... so they have to take frogs...

For my money, the remaining humans are often distinctly frog like... slippery customers.

I think what you're saying is even a bit derogatory for frogs...

That was a click I instantly felt bad about.

It often happens to me...
Well, you know what they say: "Having a frog doesn't make you perfect".

Hmmm... that's an expression I haven't encountered before. But there's no denying that its true.

Frogs Forever

Post 17

typolifi

Nor did I encounter it. But if it's true, it should be more widespread within a given time. Everything that is true ends in being said before it is forgotten again.

That's a very profound statement. Two things that have lives of their own are profound truths and really big lies.smiley - winkeye

Yeah. But as I said, truth ends in being said but is very soon forgotten again. This means it is well-known only for a relatively short time. During this time it has only a slight chance for solving some problems, because it might not come at the right moment. Whereas lies are always born as the result of an intention, and thus they often fit the situation quite well. Therefore, the life of lies seems quite strong, whereas the truth often seems to whither.

Character is, as they say, what you are in the dark. Truth is what will be left when we are all gone, and the marshes once again resound with the trilling and croaking of frogs.
