Hi Engels, here's a and another, , for the fish .
You have my Ash Magna entry for sub editing. I realised with a couple of other entries recently that I overdo the use of footnotes. So I had a go at rewording the Ash one to take out all but two of them. I've overwritten the original entry on my page with the 'defootnoted' one. I haven't changed the content at all. I don't want to interfere with the subedding but I would be grateful if you would give this other version a read.

Oh sweet, my fish loves
I'll get on over to check that out, and I should have the entry sent back in by Tuesday at the latest I think. I just left my real job, so I've got lots of time on my hands finally

Thanks Engels. Here's a link to save searching my page, http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A400465.
Commiserations or congratulations about the job. I'm not really sure which are due - please delete as appropriate and have more .
I had a half of in Dublin a couple of years ago. You sort of can't leave Dublin without. You could have stood a spoon in it.

Hi Engels, thanks for the sub edding and for reading that revised version I did. its appreciated.
Can I just ask about two things? First the sentence 'It is a Church of England.' sounds odd from this side of the Atlantic. I think its correct but it sounds odd. Someone here would say 'I am Church of England' meaning they were brought up in that denomination. 'It is a Church of England church' is awkward, maybe 'It is an Anglican church' would solve the problem.
The second thing is that the name of the house referred to in "A claim to fame lies at the top of the hill leaving Ash towards Whitchurch. Currently a residential home for the elderly, the house has a long history." doesn't appear and it might be of interest to anyone local reading this. Would it be possible to substitute 'Ash Grove has a long history' in that last part?
Sorry to bug you and if it isn't possible to change it now its pending just ignore me.

I can't make the changes my self, but I'll send that info by way of Anna. I was actually wondering about the sentence about the church of england, I can't remember if I changed it or not, it seemed right, but it didn't seem to read right, I'll give that a go though.
oh, and you're welcome, I alwasy enjoy reading a good article.
