I'll bet the BBC can't wait to get rid of hootoo. I look in daily, rarely post, and all I see is the same, very small, minority behaving like spoilt brats not getting their way.
Do these people not realise just how bad they make hootoo look to newbies? Do they not realise just how stupid they look and sound with their so called 'crusades'?
Do they behave like it in real life? If so they would, without doubt, fall into the same category as the scum that rioted and looted recently.
These are the same people, who having 'stirred the pot' then stand back, pleading innocence and saying carp like 'oh woe is me, everyone's out to get me'.
They need to either get a life or get lost, we don't need them and noohootoo definitely doesn't need them. The new management will have their work cut out making everything work, what they don't need is idiots transferring their stupid behaviour to the new site and increasing the workload of those who have done so much to save hootoo already.
There are loads of unregulated chat forums and message boards across the WWW for those who don't believe in rules or boundaries. Sites like hootoo have rules, have boundaries and they're there for a reason. If anyone signs up to join such sites they do so on the basis they accept the terms and conditions and behave accordingly. If you can't do that, or can't accept the terms then don't join, don't spoil it for those that do, just clear off.
There are NO excuses for persistent bad behaviour, no excuse for trolling, having sock puppets or stalking someone, it doesn't require a high level of education to know whats right or wrong, it takes common sense and common courtesey to behave in a normal manner.
I do hope it stops and doesn't go over to noohootoo, I do wish all well in noohootoo, there are, without doubt, some exciting times ahead for all those involved, don't let a minority spoil it.

I agree with your sentiments BMT - I hope there will be much more fun and less of the petty stirring on the new h2g2 website.
That sort of pettiness is so negative in my opinion and it shouldn't cloud the good parts and kindnesses and generosity we see in the bigger picture. It's just a very small minority making trouble.

...
I've always understood this place to be somewhere that good manners and kindness rule the day.
I do indeed hope that we have that same understanding where we go next.
Nice seeing you, by the way...you've been silent for too long.

The Beeb can and has done, let them back in after a "break". What they don't realise is, that the new hootoo will have it's own house rules and THEY might not get back in again if booted out there.
(we can hope)
