VSC: A season of League footie for £138!

Bradford City haven't often made me feel happy and proud this season, but now they have: it has just been announced that adult season tickets for next season's campaign will cost a mere £138, making Valley Parade the cheapest place in England to watch professional football. OK, so it looks almost certain that we'll be in the bottom division, but at that price I'll happily grab my slice of action against Accrington Stanley! At a time when some of the top clubs' admission prices are getting outrageously prohibitive, surely this is the way for smaller clubs to win back some support?

Quite. I saw some very cheap football on the pitch last time I saw your boys play.

And that wasn't even against Scunthorpe. Swansea, in fact.

Paying less for a lower standard of football? It'll never catch on. You want to follow Uncle Ken's winning formula of high prices, crap football and social stigma. That'll get the low, low gates you need to destroy a football club.

"Paying less for a lower standard of football? It'll never catch on."

Presumably, if that maxim was true, then people would have to be bribed to enter Elland Road.

Hey! Might explain why the club's got no money!

If that's the case, I'm waiting patiently for my cheque. Because for some reason I paid slightly more for this season ticket than I did for the last one in the Prem. And apparently Kenneth's freezing prices for next season too.

Still, at least we don't have to play Scunthorpe.

I must show this to our chairman we paid £220 or £280 for this seasons disaster. At least the prices are frozen.

Ny a considerable margin with a minimum 12k gate I'd imagine.
