How do I add a new friend to the friends list at the bottom of my home page. I've done it in the past, but now I can't seem to find the right thing to click on. Of course, I could be staring right at it, and simply failing to recognise it for what it is!

Just visit their personal space and use the 'Add to Friends' button on the right-hand side (of their space, not yours).

Go to THEIR home page. Click ADD TO FRIENDS and their name will appear on your page

If you're using Brunel then go to the person's personal space... look at the right hand side of the page, opposite the top of their introduction there's a link saying 'add to friends' (or something like that!

It could be that you used to use a different site skin in the past.

And Whisky's advice works with all the skins AFAIK not just with brunel!
