h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Honestly, I can't get out.
I'm usually a quite intelligent person (in my own not so modest opinion) but this has got me beaten.
I've examined, put on, tried exiting, leaving, hitting, and many other things that I'm sure this forum is too nice to need to know about.
How the hell do I get to the bulldozer?
I'm assuming of course here that I should get to the bulldozer.

Hi Bron, It has been far too many years for me to exactly remember how to get out, i didn't actualy have a chance to do much of the game myself (if I get any time, i will try to play the shareware version and aquaint myself with the problem all over again) A couple of questions, these are hints but I apologise if they refer to something you have done/tried. 1, Where are you EXACTLY! why can't you move? 2, dizzy? maybe you need a cure! 3, are you already wearing, carrying anything.

For adventurers who are DREAMING (another hint maybe?) of a solution to older games, please note I have set up a guide entry for exactly this sort question. I am sorry but I don't know how to leave a direct link to the relevent page. Please pass this on to any adventure fans you may come across, I only set up the page a couple of days ago so nobody has vistited it. I am not quite sure of the mechanics on how these pages work yet, but maybe if you are more familiar with H2G2 than I, you could post your question/answer there?

How or where do I get a copy of the hhgttg game, as I have seen it somewhere before, but ages ago.

I had a quick look around the web to see for myself, this shareware version won't let you save your saved game though.

Can't remember exactly how but I'll have a think about the getting arther out of the bedroom problem. If anyone else has played and remembers how to solve the "upper half of the room cleaning robot" and "lower half of the room cleaning robot" problem (I think that was what the game came up with) when trying to get the babel fish, I'd like to know!

It's been years since I played...

I can't remember how to get out at the moment, but I seem to remember not being able to stop the bulldozer. I remember vogon constructor fleet ships though...and big problems getting a babel fish.

I tried the game recently and had to cheat to get anything done, and even then I lost. I cheated using the following link

The two key points are to turn on the light and take the asprin (okay buffered analgesic). The rest is a bit more complicated.

first, get your toothbrush, get your gown, get an analgesic and then go south

Easy way yo get hints:
Type in HINTS
Meh... Some people, eh?
And how do you read footnotes?

Of course, I never needed to use the hints, never...
