How do I did a grave?

Post 1

I would like to dig a grave. I saw a thing on telly about 'green gyms' and decided that digging a grave would be a good way to keep fit.

A shovel would be a good start.

And a graveyard.

I bet there's skill in digging a grave, knowing how to get it square and not cave in, that sort of thing. It'd make a good Entry smiley - tongueout

What was the green gym thing about?

Whose grave do you want to dig? Are they dead yet?

And a green gym is where you keep fit by doing environmental projects, like weeding and litter picking and planting trees and what-have-you. They're free and are popping up all over the place.

doesn't it depend on what you are digging the grave to hypothetically bury a pet hamster wouldnt be to much trouble but a horse would be a major work out if you are not used to it!!!smiley - biggrin

pffffft

Mebbe if its a Gym they use that to sort of scale you, like 'He can press 240lb' or 'He can do Fifteen minutes on the runner'.

You know, he's a beginner so start him on the dead fish, but the real impressive green gymers can do several horses and a baby elephant without even breaking a sweat.

So does somebody organise them, and you join as a member, and get given projects? Do they measure fitness, that kind of thing?

Somebody does organise them, and you do a warm-up before you start, and they let you know what you should be doing (if someone put you in a forest and said 'do some environmental work' you wouldn't necessarily know what to do).
