I want to lighten some video files but none of my editing software works on editing ram files.
Does anyone know if it is possible to transform ram files (Real Audio Files) to avi or wmv files?

Yes. grab yourself a copy of Winavi.
It'll convert anything to anything.
even does real movie formats.
