Training comes to an end today.
Six of us have been spending the week being "taught" about Change Of Circumstances w*rk on Incapacity Benefit claims. I don't think we have actually learned much of any use, but we start doing the actual j*b on Monday, so it'll actually start to make sense then, I guess. That's how it was on New Claims at any rate. We'll see...

I say "we" start on Change of Circs on Monday; I don't. I've got the week off!
In some ways I'm glad. I could certainly do with a rest & it will be nice to see my parents. However, in other ways it's a bit of a pain.
For one thing, the sooner I get on & put my new "skills" into practice the better. How much will I actually remember by the time I get back? (Actually, I doubt that's much of an issue as I don't think I know that much now!)
And more importantly, if I'm not coming in to w*rk, I won't see the lovely Miss V so much! That is a real kicker.

Plus side though, she's planning to come over this weekend, hopefully staying overnight for the first time.....
The thought of this makes me go all nervous & shivery inside, in a good way of course! Can't wait!
