A Conversation for The Impression of Scotland

Thank you.
As a scot, it means a lot for me to hear praise about my country.
I can assure you that the deep fried mars bar does exist, and it is served in batter. You can also buy deep fried pizza, which is not battered.
The scots, are really a nice, friendly people, and they mix well. Scottish football fans have been awarded in many countries for being the best behaved, probably because they are the most highly visible of the well behaved football fans. I am sure that other countries have equally well behaved fans, but they must keep out of the limelight for some reason.
I agree that Edinburgh is a nice place to visit, but I would not like to live there, and Glasgow, while not as attractive, is the better place to live.
If you loved Loch Lomond, take the time to visit Loch Ness, its beauty is unsurpassed. The mist over this loch in the mornings, with its surrounding hills, is a beauty not to be missed.
Irn Bru, what can I say. As well as being a quality drink, it is also a good cure for a hangover.
Haggis is lovely too, and can also be purchased deep fried in batter in your local chippie.
Hope you come back and visit us soon.

Thank you. For reading my entrie. And I was surprised to see how much you agree with me. This probably means that what I wrote is not a total and coplete nonsense after all.
I am definitely planning on going to Scotland again. In fact I am having problems keeping myself away. I want to go there as soon as possible, but I do think I would be overdoing it if I went there without even checking out some other parts of the world that might turn out to be just as fascinating. Although I doubt it.
But I will difinitely be breathing Scottish air again. Someday.

The Glasgow scots are great (no idea about the rest).
Being a tourist in Glasgow was a laugh. In pubs, the people seem to want to show you all of the other good pubs, or to start a fight. Much more entertaining than Canadian pubs (at least the ones in BC. Maybe the east-coast pubs are better).
One thing I couldn't figure out is that there seem to be lots of places that play old American music.
Wherever you are in Glasgow is always the best place, and the people all eat their young in the other parts.
It's a shame that drinking in public is no longer legal, because being a drunk tourist is far more amusing.
I must go there again.
