OK Joanna I've set up the campaign HQ at http://www.h2g2.com/A369623 now what shall we stand on. We have strong stance on equality. Racial, gender and sexual orientation, for starters. And we have Donuts. Plenty of Donuts.

We have lots of donuts, this is our strength.
Together we're kind of opposites, gender, colour, sexual orientation - I'm sure we should make a feature of that.
i'm setting up our joint persona as I type...

Okay how's this? feel free to change it if you want...:
Joanna found H2G2 a little after Demon Drawer, but she loves it and all the people as much. She spends her time here writing entries on many different topics - she has recently become a 'guinea pig' for the Field Researcher's project, greeting new users and selling donuts/doughnuts to everyone. If elected she will stand by Demon Drawer, and endeavour to represent all of the people of h2g2 fairly and well.

Sounds good do I move the campaign HQ to our joint page so we can both have access though.

J'au-æmne Posted Jun 18, 2000
May be a good idea. can more than one person log in as the same researcher at the same time?
Prez Elections.
Demon Drawer Posted Jun 18, 2000
I don't think so that is a problem PR has I think. But if we let the other know when we are going on and coming out it should be OK.

Joe is prepared to use some good pictures and treat them for publicity stuff. Also do a campaign page, flash campign and a campaign badge for people's pages

J'au-æmne Posted Jun 18, 2000
Cool, where will they be hosted? Its just that I don't like to have graphics coming from too many different places on a page 'cause it kills my connection at home.

J'au-æmne Posted Jun 18, 2000

Eomando is willing to carry out some role on the campaign staff any idea what.
Prez Elections.
J'au-æmne Posted Jun 18, 2000
I'm sure the answer will come to us... erm... we need to look at successful campaigns of the past, and see what staff they had.

Demon Drawer Posted Jun 18, 2000
Blair had his spin Doctor and Mandelson, modernising the look.
Maggie had Hezza before he was too old and Archer befroe he was shamed doing the footwork.
We need to ahve our presence felt, we need researchers to keep an eye on our opponents and we need a strategy team.

J'au-æmne Posted Jun 18, 2000
We definitely need to get strategy and manifesto sorted as a priority, so that we can set a standard to the other players.
More thoughts tomorrow...

Demon Drawer Posted Jun 19, 2000
Manifesto will be launched in 2 weeks time after we have a consultation period with other researchers. That give's us time to get it out there before hustings really get going. We may have to do something for the post this week. Will discuss later.
